Metrowater launches new service

CHENNAI: `Dial for Water' is a new service introduced by Chennai Metrowater for tanker water supply. Under this, consumers can contact the nearest water filling point or the metrowater area offices for the quantity of water required. They can pay when the tanker reaches their house.

The chargesmay be paid to the lorry driver either in the form of cash or demand draft and the receipt would be issued immediately. Consumers can avail themselves the facility between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on all days.
