BEML Q2 net at Rs. 36 crore

BANGALORE: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. has posted a sales turnover of Rs. 1,013.56 crore with a net profit of Rs. 51.58 crore for the half year ended September 30, 2006. The value of production for the current period is Rs. 1,051.23 crore against Rs. 926.82 crore. For the second quarter, BEML recorded sales turnover of Rs. 643.97 crore against Rs. 383.20 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year and a net profit of Rs. 36.57 crore against Rs. 29.08 crore.
