Vishwa Karma community members told to stand united

Special Correspondent

SHIMOGA: The State unit president of the Vishwa Karma Maha Sabha K.P. Nanjundi has called upon members of the community to keep aside their differences in the interests of the community's development.

He was addressing members of the district unit of the sabha here on Wednesday.

The main purpose of organising members of the Vishwa Karma community was to achieve all-round development and not short-term personal benefits, he said.

Bickering in some district-level organisations did not augur well for the development of the community, he said.

Mr. Nanjundi alleged that no party had given any responsible position to the community because of its lack of organisational strength.
