Children's Day programmes planned

More than 6,000 children to participate in rally
|
KOCHI:
More than 6,000 children from various schools in the district will take part in the Children's Day rally to be held on November 14 this year.
The decision was taken at a meeting held to discuss the Children's Day celebration at the Civil Station, Kakkanad on Thursday. District level competitions will be organised for students from the district as part of the programmes.
Different competitions will be conducted for Lower Primary and Upper Primary students at Educational Sub-District level, according to District Collector A.P.M.Mohammed Hanish.
The Revenue District-level competitions will be held on November 6, at SRV School, Ernakulam, in which the winners of the first, second and third places at sub-district level will participate.
