Staff Reporter

Hyderabad: The last date for sending entry cards for participating in The Hindu Young World Quiz is Thursday. The multi-city quiz will be held at Hyderabad on October 16 at Sri Satya Sai Nigamagamam, Srinagar Colony. The All India final will be held at Madurai on November 14, the Children's Day.

Each school can send a maximum of three teams comprising two students each from classes 10 to 12. There will be a written preliminary round to select six teams for the regional finals on stage. Admit cards have already been sent to schools.

The winning team from each region will be eligible to participate in the all India final.

A large number of prizes will be awarded at every stage besides certificates to participants. The Hindu will meet the cost of travel, boarding and lodging of the teams and for one accompanying parent or teacher from outside Madurai for the final.
