Atwal slips to tied 28th

Greensboro: A late bogey saw Arjun Atwal card a one-over 73 and slip to tied 28th spot after the second round of the Chrysler Classic tournament here.

Meanwhile, Daniel Chopra, tied-22nd overnight, just about made the cut as he shot six bogeys and four birdies in his 74 that gave him a three-over total, the score where the cut was applied.

At St. Andrews, Shiv Kapur and Jyoti Randhawa continued to struggle in the Alfred Dunhill Links championship, finishing tied 118th and 156th respectively after two rounds.

At Taipei, Gurbaaz Mann and S.S.P. Chowrasia, the two Indians to make the cut at the $300,000 Taiwan Open on Saturday, were lying low after three rounds.

Gurbaaz shot an even par 72 and was tied 44th, while Chowrasia shot a 76 and was tied 61st at five-over for 54 holes.
