Adarsh, Anju win titles

Perinthalmanna: P. Adarsh and Anju K. Thomas won the men's and women's singles titles respectively in the Dr. M.S. Nair memorial all-Kerala open prize money table tennis tournament, which concluded at the Cosmopolitan Club on Friday.

Adarsh (Capstocks) scored an easy 11-8, 11-4, 11-9, 11-7 win over M.R. Rajeev (Tsr) in the men's final, while Anju K. Thomas (Capstocks) was stretched by M.R. Ranjana (Tsr) in the women's final. Anju finally won 11-6, 11-8, 7-11, 5-11, 11-9, 9-11, 15-13. Anju also won the title in youth section to complete a double. Shyam Narayan of AYTTA also bagged a double as he won the youth and junior boys' singles titles.
