Gangjee tied 44th
Taipei: Rahil Gangjee carded a nightmarish three-over 75 to be tied for the 44th spot as all the Indians ended up over-par in the opening round of the $3,00,000 Taiwan Open here on Thursday.
Gangjee struggled at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club and was a stroke behind compatriots Harvinder Gupta and Digvijay Singh. Harvinder and Digvijay carded similar two-over 74 scores for the tied 32nd position.
Arjun Singh stood at the tied 56th spot with the worst of all the Indians five-over 77 in his opening round.
At the top of the leaderboard, Australia's Kane Webber fired an impressive five-under 67 to take the early first round lead. UNI
