Murder accused from city found hanging in Pondicherry

HYDERABAD: A murder accused hailing from the city was found hanging in a lodge at Pondicherry on Sunday.

G. Ramchandar Reddy (32) was a resident of Uppal. The Pondicherry police had arrested him on the charge of killing his wife Sujatha in a lodge on March 26. He was later released on a conditional bail asking him not to leave the city. The incident came to light when Ramchandar failed to respond to the phone calls of his relatives here. On suspicion, they asked lodge workers to call him. When they peeped through the window, they found Ramchandar hanging from the roof ceiling.Ramchandar spoke to his family on Saturday night.
