Mohali: The International Cricket Council (ICC), in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), has decided to go in for dope test of all players taking part in the ICC Champions Trophy. This prestigious tournament will be played at Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Mohali from October 7 to November 5. The samples of any player can be taken at random, the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) President, I.S. Bindra, said at a press conference at the PCA Stadium here on Tuesday. Arrangements for the collection of urine samples of the players at random have been made with the Fortis Hospital here, he said. As there is no WADA accredited laboratory to analyse the samples in India, the ICC would send these to Malaysia or any other nearest country for testing, he added. ``The PCA Stadium has gone in for massive upgradation of facilities and a separate room with toilet for collecting the samples under the supervision of doctors and the ICC staff will be provided to the medical team,'' Bindra, a former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said. The Champions Trophy will begin with a qualifying match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on October 7 at the PCA Stadium. UNI
