Pyara Singh upsets Kiran

Mysore: Unseeded Pyara Singh of Karnataka playing a consistent baseline game, registered a upset 10-4 win over third-seeded state-mate C.M. Kiran and entered the quarterfinals in the boys under-16 singles on the second-day of the AITA Talent Series tennis tournament for juniors at the MTC courts here on Tuesday.

In another upset, in the boys' under-16 singles, unseeded V. Pranav of Karnataka ousted state-mate and sixth seeded Karan Bikkanavar 10-4 to enter the quarterfinals.
