KVB hikes domestic term deposit rates

CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank has increased the rates of interest offered on domestic term deposits across all time slabs with effect from September 18. For one year and above and inclusive of two years, the rate has been hiked by 50 basis points to 7.75 per cent, for above two years and inclusive of three years, it is up by 75 basis points at 8 per cent, for above three years and inclusive of five years, the new rate is 8.25 per cent (8 per cent) and above five years 7.75 per cent (7.50 per cent). For senior citizens, the new rates of interest are 8.50 (8) for one year and above and inclusive of three years and 9 (8.50) for above three years and inclusive of five years.
