SBI opens specialised centre

HYDERABAD: State Bank of India has opened a specialised `stressed assets resolution centre' here for monitoring and follow up of bad and doubtful loans to implement policies under the business process re-engineering project. It will take up all rehabilitation, compromise and recovery by due process of law, including action under SARFAESI Act of all NPA accounts of all branches in the twin cities. The centre has appealed to borrowers and guarantors who availed themselves of loan facilities from identified branches and have not repaid them to contact either personally or by post any of its officials who will try to resolve any issue as early as possible. The centre is located in Lata Complex, second floor, opposite Board of Intermediate Education, M. J. Road, Nampally (Phone: 23200874/5, Fax 23200873).
