Government MSSS runs riot

NEW DELHI: Gurtej Singh struck two goals in the second half as Government MSSS (Chandigarh) blanked Mamta Modern SSS (Delhi) 6-0 in the inaugural match of the Subroto Cup junior tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.

Rakesh opened the scoring for the Chandigarh school when he found the net in the 23rd minute before Gurjinder (26th) made it 2-0 for a halftime lead.

Gangandeep (32nd), Sukhvinder (43rd) and Gurtej (44th and 60th) were on target.
