Shanker) and Fantastic Feeling (Shelar) 1-9, 600/42. Lascivious finished five lengths ahead of Far Fetched, who further finished five lengths ahead of Fantastic Feeling.

Poonawalla Million

The plum event of the season, the S. A. Poonawalla Million (1,600m), is to be run here on Sept. 17.

The Poonawallas have guaranteed total stakes of Rs. 1 million which includes Rs. 5 lakhs added from the RWITC fund. The Poonawalla Group has further contributed Rs. 2.5 lakhs towards prizes and Rs. 35,000 towards trophies.

This year also the Poonawallas are offering a bumper prize, a Maruti 800 car in the contest of skill. The punters will get a form at the turnstiles of the Pune race course only, in which they have to nominate the first four horses in correct finishing order. There are also second (Colour TV), third (Refrigerator), fourth (Music system) and consolation prizes (wrist watches) to be won.
