Himalaya Cup cricket

NEW DELHI: The Delhi leg of the Himalaya Cup under-15 cricket championship will be played here from Wednesday. In its third year, Himalaya Cup has received entries from 260 school from across four cities that are hosting the initial rounds.

The other three rounds will be played in Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Bokaro. The winning team from each city will compete for the Himalaya Champions Trophy.

In Delhi 56 schools will compete in four groups with 16 making it to the pre-quarterfinals, which will be played on the league basis.
