6 Congress MLAs for Delhi

Staff Correspondent

DEHRA DUN: Six Congress MLAs of Jharkhand, who had been in Rishikesh and Mussoorie for the last two days, left for New Delhi on Monday.

A few other MLAs, including Independents, left for Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. They will go to Delhi after getting an appointment with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, party sources said.

The MLAs reached Hardwar on Saturday. They were later moved to Rishikesh and Mussoorie.

The legislators were moved out of Jharkhand following political developments in the State.

Chief Minister Arjun Munda's Government faces a test of strength on the floor of the House later this week.
