Kottayam Aces bags title

KOCHI: Kottayam's Aces, comprising P.A. Kuriakose, S.R.S. Shastri, Jagadeeshan, Ramamurthy, P.R. Krishnan and S.R.C. Sekhar, won the team of four duplicate title in the Kerala State bridge championship at Kumbanad's National Club, near Thiruvalla.

Team of four duplicate: 1. Aces, Kottayam (Prof. P.A.Kuriakose, S.R.S. Shastri, Jagadeeshan, Ramamurthy, P.R. Krishnan and S.R.C. Shekhar) and Standard, Thiruvananthapuram (Shaju V. Mathew, S. Rajiv, N.C.J. John, Ramachandran) joint winners - 96 VPs; 3. Knaves, Kottayam (Jacob Cherian, Joseph Cherian, Mathew Chandy, V.C. Zacheria and Sunny - 94 VP).
