Shriram EPC to set up gas cleaning plant in Zambia
CHENNAI:
Shriram EPC has recently concluded a contract with Konkola Copper Mines of Zambia to set up a gas cleaning plant for its new copper smelter project coming up at Chingola in Zambia. The total contract value is $7.2 million and the project has to be completed in 14 months. Konkola Copper Mines is a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources of the U.K. Shriram EPC will be teaming up with Swemco and Beltron, both from the U.S. for supply of the technology for the gas scrubbing and the wet electrostatic precipitator respectively.
