HYDERABAD: The Government has issued orders permitting integration of electronic payment gateway of ICICI and HDFC Banks with eProcurement platform, which provides a facility to the participating suppliers and contractors to electronically pay the transaction fee using their credit cards. Information Technology and Communications Department Secretary K. Ratna Prabha, in a press note issued here, said this facility is mandatory for all tenders transacted through eProcurement platform. This was done as a good business practice so that it was on par with similar type of platforms in public and private sector.
