NCP's national convention on September 17

NEW DELHI: The Nationalist Congress Party will hold its third national convention at Dehra Dun inUttaranchal on September 17.

Party president Sharad Pawar will inaugurate the convention three months after being re-elected for the third successive term. The party will re-elect members of its working committee.

It is expected to discuss the coming elections in Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh and Manipur. Two resolutions, political and economic, would be adopted.

It also congratulated Supriya Sule on being elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha.
