Crowd disappointed

C. K. Chandramohan

DEHRA DUN: The absence of film stars Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and Tulsi of the `Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' fame at the Parivartan rally of the Bharatiya Janata Party here on Friday disappointed the crowd that had assembled at the Parade Grounds.

Perhaps sensing that their favourites will not be appearing, almost half the crowd left by the time the former Prime Minister,Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and L. K. Advani spoke.

"We have nothing against the political parties but they should not have cheated us in the name of our heroes," said Savita, Laxmi and Ramesh, asked as to why they were returning before the top leaders spoke.
