Aditya, Srujan in title clash

Bangalore: Second seed Srujan Nandaluri of Andhra Pradesh and qualifier Aditya Elango of Tamil Nadu entered the boys' under-19 final of the Union Bank all-India junior ranking badminton championship here on Thursday.

In the girl's section of the same category, Neha Pandit will clash with Arundhati Pantwane in an all-Maharashtra final.

The results:

Semifinals: Boys (under-19): Aditya Elango (TN) bt Arun Nadaluri (AP) 17-21, 21-17, 22-20; Srujan Nandaluri (AP) bt Ajay Jayaram (Mah) 21-19, 24-22. U-16: Abhimanyu Singh (MP) bt M. Prashanth (AP) 24-22, 21-17; Aditya Prakash (Kar) bt Parin Chopra (Mah) 21-9, 24-22.

Girls (under-19): Neha Pandit (Mah) bt Aditi Mutatkar (Mah) 21-15, 8-11 (retired); Arundhati Pantawane (Mah) bt Mudra Dahinje (Mah) 21-13, 21-15. U-16: Sikky Reddy (AP) bt Vinita Ghate (Mah) 21-11, 21-19; P.C. Thulasi (Ker) bt Pradnya Gadre (Mah). — UNI
