Ganesh, Sanjay score centuries

Bangalore: Ganesh Satish's 187 and Sanjay Kumar's 105 were the highlights as Bangalore City posted 439 for five in reply to Bangalore Zone's 269 in a KSCA under-19 inter-zonal cricket tournament match that concluded in a draw here on Wednesday.

The scores:

Bangalore Zone 269 in 84.2 overs drew with Bangalore City 439 for five in 87 overs (Ganesh Satish 187, Sanjay Kumar 105, Daniel Liao 53 not out, Manish Pandey 41).

Mangalore Zone 258 in 82.4 overs and 31 for one in nine overs drew with Tumkur Zone 239 in 83.5 overs (Eshwar Prasad 63, Manu 54, A. Mahendrakar 42).

Vice President's XI 171 in 51.5 overs and 168 for six in 46 overs drew with President's XI 341 in 84.1 overs (K.V. Darshan 99, P. Madhusudan 58, Maharshi 44).

Combined City 336 in 84.5 overs and 48 for two in 11 overs drew with Shimoga Zone 262 in 84 overs (Raghavendra 62, Balsubramanya 50, D.V. Anish five for 107).

Secretary's XI 260 in 86.4 overs drew with Mysore Zone 330 for six in 90 overs (K.P. Pawan 151 not out, Uttam Raj 68).

Raichur Zone 171 in 50.2 overs and 201 for six in 56 overs (Raj Kumar 92 not out) drew with Dharwad Zone 187 in 74.2 overs (Imran Khan four for 40).

Big win for Sri Gokul

K. Girish's unbeaten 101 helped Sri Gokul HS Kolar defeat Cathedral School by eight wickets in a Parle Cup under-17 inter-school cricket tournament match here on Wednesday. Cathedral School scored 225 and Sri Gokul HS won in 24.3 overs.

Cathedral School 225 in 40.1 overs (Vikas 71) lost to Sri Gokul HS, Kolar 228 for two in 24.3 overs (K. Girish 101 not out, D.G. Puneeth 71).

Vidyashilp Academy 143 in 44.5 overs (Ashrit 55) lost to St. Paul's English School 144 for one in 17.3 overs (Sandeep 46 not out, K.A. Bharath 43).

Kensri School 219 in 36.3 overs (Abhishek 93, Arun four for 54) bt Sree Saraswati Vidyamandir 77 in 21.3 overs (Trivikram five for 19).

Royal English School 192 in 40 overs (K. Raju 51 not out, Thippa Reddy four for 38) bt Cambridge Public School, HSR Layout 123 in 30.3 overs.

Shanthiniketan HS 241 in 39.4 overs (Kaushik 61 not out, Varun 40) bt Cambridge Public School, HSR Extension 236 in 43.5 overs (V.G. Roshan 103).
