Ananth wins title

MYSORE: Ananth Rao B. of Maharaja's Bifurcated PU College and Amulya Bharadwaj of SVEI won the individual titles in the men's and women's sections respectively in the Mysore City inter-collegiate gymnastics championship held at the University gymnasium hall recently.

Ananth impressed with his gold-winning performances in the floor exercise, pommel horse, roman rings, vaulting horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar events. A. Raghavendra of DBCAC, Mysore and S. Sathish of Yuvaraja's College secured six silver and six bornze medals respectively.

Amulya hogged the limelight with gold-winning performances in floor exercise, uneven bars, balancing beam and vaulting horse apparatus events.
