Tamil version of "Lean Tools" released

CHENNAI: The Tamil translation of an English book "Lean Tools" on the importance of the benefits of eliminating hidden waste in manufacturing, assembly, customer service and distribution operations of companies was released here on Tuesday.

The book authored by Micheal Wader's was translated in Tamil by V. Rajagopalan for Productivity and Quality Publishing. A press release from the publishers said the objective of the translation is to benefit the small entrepreneurs, factory owners and workforce.

C. Narasimhan, advisor, Sundaram Clayton Limited, released the Tamil version titled "Alavana Nirvaga Sadanangal" and the first copy was received by S. Subbiah, joint director of training in the Department of Employment and Training. The 110-page book is priced at Rs. 80.
