Srinagar:
Three militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit were on Tuesday nabbed by Army troops from Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said.
Javed Ahmad Sheikh, Feroz Ahmed Magray alias Faisal and Mohammad Shafi Khan were arrested by the troops of 15 Rashtriya Rifles during an operation in Wangam-Bandipora, 55 km from here, the spokesman said.
On interrogation, the arrested confessed to being active LeT militants involved in planting of an improvised explosive device at Putushai on August 26 and firing on a security patrol at Wangam on August 16.
Three under-barrel grenade launchers with 12 grenades, five hand-grenades, two remote control devices and two mobile phones were recovered from them, the spokesman said. PTI
