Sibi and Nila in a scene from the movie `Lee'
CHENNAI: The FIFA World Cup is over. But the football fever lingers on. At least in the minds of some people in Tamil cinema. Actor Sathyaraj is producing a film featuring his son Sibi. Writer-director Prabhu Solomon has penned a story of a football player who is benched due to corruption among his mentors. "I watched `Kokki' and approached director Prabhu Solomon who narrated the story of the film, now named `Lee'. I was so impressed that I decided to produce it under the banner `Nathambal film Factory,' named after my mother. "Lee needs grandeur and splendour. I cannot expect someone to shell out so much money for the movie. That is why, for the first time, I decided to produce it. Sathyaraj has decided not to act in the film. So who are Sibi's co-stars? "The director wanted someone like Nila. And so we got Nila. Zahir, who has played the role of villain in Ram Gopal Varma films, is the baddie again along with Prakash Raj," says Sathyaraj. D. Iman scores the music while Rajesh Yadav handles camera. Director Prabhu Solomon is also taking charge of story, screenplay and dialogue.
