BJP charge against Congress

Special Correspondent

Terrorist attacks not being investigated properly, it says

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday charged the Congress with raising in Parliament the issue of a Sikh youth being assaulted in Jaipur on August 21 with an eye on the Assembly elections in Punjab early next year.

Party spokesperson V.K. Malhotra said the Rajasthan Chief Minister was aware of the matter, the police were investigating and the main accused, Arjun Meena, had been arrested.

Deploring the incident, he charged the Congress with deliberate emotionalising the issue.
