Hitler's Cross to be renamed

Mumbai: The owners of Hitler's Cross restaurant here, at the centre of a controversy after Jewish groups objected to its name, have decided to rename the eatery.

"There is no point hurting the sentiments of a particular community over the name of a restaurant. We have decided to change its name and a new name will be announced in two days," Shakir Siddiqui, a partner in the restaurant at Kharghar in the satellite town of Navi Mumbai said. The restaurant reportedly removed a poster of the Nazi leader from its premises. — PTI
