Bharti signs contract with Ericsson

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel has signed a $1 billion network expansion contract with Ericsson to expand its mobile services footprint and reach out to all towns and cities in 15 telecom circles. The three-year service contract with Ericsson is mainly towards planning, designing, installing and commissioning of Airtel networks in these circles, says a release.
