Airtel's instant GPRS for prepaid customers

CHENNAI: Bharti Airtel has announced access to its general packet radio service (GPRS) at a nominal charge for all its prepaid customers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Prepaid customers with a GPRS enabled handset can now access Internet at the press of a button on their mobile handsets. According to a release, they can also access GPRS applications such as mobile office, which enables the customers to access to email and Internet on their laptop using GPRS mobile. Customers, who wish to avail themselves of this service, can download the settings by sending an SMS GPRS to 567.
