Ornaments, Rs. 28,000 stolen at Kalapather
HYDERABAD:
A thief took away Rs.28,000 and gold ornaments weighing 12 tolas from a house at Kalapather while the inmates were busy with daily chores in the early hours of Tuesday.
The thief somehow went up the single-storeyed building around 5 a.m.
He came down to the ground floor taking the staircase, as doors on the terrace were kept open.
Even as the house owner Ahmed Ali, 50, finished his morning prayers and his wife Naheeda Bee was busy doing up the house, the thief opened the almirah using the keys left in the keyhole, collected the gold and cash and walked away through the main entrance.
