Tantri case: nod for developing film

Kochi: The Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate II has permitted the police to develop the film roll and examine the digital camera seized from Biji Peter, one of the accused in the case relating to the assault on former Sabarimala Tantri Kandararu Mohanaru.

The Magistrate ordered that the film roll be processed at the Photographic Bureau of the police in the presence of the investigation officers. The negatives and prints should be produced before the court after the processing.

The order came on an application filed by the police seeking to process the film roll.
