BANGALORE: For the city's theatre buffs, Your's Truly Theatre and Silver Blue Productions have prepared a rich menu of high intensity drama on August 22, 27 and September 16. "Final Touches" is the name given to the palette of plays in a unique format of theatre called, "Complete the Story." In the new format, the audience gets a chance to become the director of all four plays and actually "complete the story" and watch it played out by the actors. As the name suggests, audience gives the final touches to the performance. "Final Touches" is a collage of four interactive short plays with four cultures, flavours and emotions. From mystery to comedy to romance, from the life of a college girl to an ad professional to a guide from the North to South India, "Final Touches" is designed to expose the audience to a range of emotions and experiences. The first play, "Purple Roses," a folk work directed by Ranji David, is set in a small village of Karnataka. Ranga Shankara in J.P. Nagar will host the plays on August 22, from 7.30 p.m. Guru Nanak Bhavan will be the venue for the shows on August 28 from 7 p.m. and Rangayana in Mysore will play host for the event on September 16, 7 p.m. onwards.
