BSNL launches new scheme for students

Coimbatore: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Coimbatore, has launched on August 15 a new plan exclusively for students - "Excel Student Power" under prepaid mobile services with unlimited free SMS.

The starter pack (SIM card) costing Rs. 112 comes with a free talk value of Rs. 30, validity of seven days and grace period seven days. Recharge on normal coupons or top-up cards, pulse rate 60 seconds, local calls to BSNL network 30 paise only (during 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.), local calls to BSNL network Re. 1 and other networks Rs. 1.20. STD calls to BSNL network Rs. 2 and other networks Rs. 2.40. ISD calls to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom at Rs. 7.20, Europe, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong at Rs. 9.60, rest of the world at Rs. 12 per minute. Local SMS is free. STD SMS will be Re. 1 and ISD Rs. 3. For details, contact 2454545.
