Hyderabad: Coral Gables and Orpheus caught the eye when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Aug. 14).

Sand:

600m: Pound For Pound (Pavan Kumar) 46.5, 400/31. Easy. Angel Of Glory (Pawar) (1,000-400) 47.5. Easy.

800m: Benazir (Sandeep) 1-1.5, 400/32. Not extended. Combe Bassett (Uday Kiran), Arkwright (Deep Shanker) 1-0.5, 600/46, 400/31. They moved freely. Execute (Ex: Hurricane Run) (rb) (1,200-400) 1-2.5. Moved on the bit.

1,000m: Coral Gables (A. Imran Khan) 1-13, 800/57, 600/43, 400/28.5. In fine shape. Key To Relax (A. Imran Khan), Golden Castle (Ravinder) 1-17.5, 800/59.5, 600/45, 400/30.5. They were easy and level. On The Trail (Deep Shanker), Horatio (Uday Kiran) 1-15.5, 800/58, 600/43.5, 400/29. They moved on the bit. Highland Queen (App), Hyacinth (Deep Shanker) 1-16.5, 800/1-0.5, 600/45.5, 400/28.5. A fit pair.

1,400m: Blizzard (Chary), Fitting Tribute (Sandeep) 1-47, 1,200/1-33, (1,400-400) 1-12.5, (1,400-600) 57. They were eased up at the last 400m.

1,600m: Orpheus (Ravinder), Friendly Fire (A. Imran Khan) 2-1.5, 1,400/1-44.5, 1,200/1-29.5, 1,000/1-15, 800/59, 600/44.5, 400/29.5. Former started four lengths behind and finished level with more in hand.

Sand — Aug. 13:

600m: Since (Laxmikanth) 46, 400/29. Moved well. Line To Conquer (Ramana) 47.5, 400/32. Moved on the bit.

800m: Smile Of Success (Ramana) 1-1.5, 600/45, 400/29.5. Easy. The Bee (Ali Khan) 1-0, 600/42.5, 400/28. Extended. State City (rb) 1-1.5, 600/45.5, 400/30.5. Easy. Star Is Reborn (D. Singh) 1-1, 600/45, 400/27.5. Extended in the last part. Dear To My Heart (Shinde), Wonderbabe (Rawal) 1-1, 600/45, 400/29. Former moved slightly better.
