Ganja seized, two women held

Thiruvananthapuram: The Excise Enforcement and Anti-narcotic Special Squad, Thiruvananthapuram, seized 1.4 kg of ganja from Perumpazhathoor, near Neyyattinkara, on Saturday and arrested two women.

The arrested were identified as Sudharma, 45, resident of Ikulam Puthenveedu, Perumpazhathoor, and Chandrika, 48, resident of Meleputhen veedu, Chemannuvila.

A team led by Circle Inspector B. Suresh Kumar seized the ganja. The two accused were produced in court and remanded.
