VISAKHAPATNAM: To augment its retail business, Dhanalakshmi Bank Limited will launch `Monsoon Hungama Savings Festival' here from Tuesday. Disclosing the details to the media on Monday the bank's senior branch manager K. Satyanarayana said that the objective of the two-month savings festival was to double the `relationships' during the current financial year. Inaugurating the festival, K. Chaya Devi, Rotary District Governor- 3020, said that service had become the benchmark for banking today and Dhanalakshmi Bank seems to be heading in the right direction. To encourage investors, the bank will be giving attractive gifts to all its new customers during the festival period. "Gifts will be given to all new customers and existing customers who open any kind of account right from savings to recurring deposits and from current accounts to term deposits during this period," informed Mr. Satyanarayana.
Range of loans
Apart from gifts, the bank proposes to introduce insurance-linked recurring deposits during the period. The bank also offers housing loans, education loans, house repairs loans and loans on gold and immovable property. The nine per cent interest charged by the bank on gold loan is the lowest in the market. The bank is well connected with over 14,000 ATMs across the country.
