Loch Lomond (Scotland): A horrendous front nine cost Shiv Kapur dearly as he carded a second successive one-over 72 to finish tied 60th after the final round of the £2.4 million Scottish Open here. Kapur ended his campaign with a total of one-over 285. He was out of sorts in the front nine and could not make even a single birdie. On the way back, however, he had two birdies and finished over-par for the second day in a row. Sweden's Johan Edfors shot an inspirational final round of eight-under 63 to win the title after being six strokes behind Thomas Bjorn of Denmark and Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke.
Chopra finishes 10th
Daniel Chopra messed up a brilliant start to finish tied 10th with a one-under 70, while Arjun Atwal's disappointing one-over 72 saw him finish at the 61st spot in the $four million John Deere Classic at Silvis (Illinois). Atwal ended with a four-under 280 with two birdies and three bogeys on the final day. Chopra had a birdie on the first hole and followed it up with an eagle on the next. However, he lost his way after that. On the back nine, he dropped a shot on the 10th but made up with back-to-back birdies on the 13th and 14th. However, a bogey on the next pegged him back.
Senden triumphs
Australia's John Senden clinched his first USPGA title and also qualified for the British Open after carding a three-under 68 to finish at 19-under 265. UNI
