The level in the Vaigai dam was 43.14 feet with an inflow of 515 cusecs and a discharge of 900 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 3931 mcft.
Rainfall
Periyar dam recorded a rainfall of 21 mm, followed by Tekkadi - 9 mm, Gudalur - 4 mm and Shanmuganadi - 3 mm.
