Traffic diversions

MADURAI: The city police have made the following traffic diversions in view of the Immayil Nanmai Tharuvar Temple Kumbabhishekam on July 14.

Traffic would be closed on West Vadampokki Street and between Arya Bhavan junction and T.M. Court junction on West Masi Street. Devotees heading for the temple from Teppakulam, Ramanathapuram Road and Tallakulam areas should park their vehicles on South Masi Street. Vehicles coming from Tirupparankundram Road, Theni Road, Arasaradi, and Dindigul Road should be parked between Hyat Khan Road junction and Police Control Room. Outstation vehicles should be parked at the Shopping complex Bus Stand.

No parking would be allowed on Netaji Road between Arya Bhavan junction and Dindigul Road junction.

These temporary diversions would have effect from Thursday night, according to a press release.
