KOLKATA : East Zone will host the Duleep Trophy in the coming season. Owing to late monsoon, the first set of two matches will be played in Central Zone. The rest of the matches, including the final, will be hosted at Cuttack, Jamshedpur, Guwahati and Kolkata. The fixtures: Duleep Trophy: October 19-22: West Zone vs South African selection, East vs Central; Oct. 27-30: West vs South (Cuttack), Central vs North (Jamshedpur); Nov. 4-7: East vs North (Guwahati), South vs South African selection (Kolkata); Nov. 13-17: Final (Kolkata). Bengal's Ranji fixture (Elite Group B): November 23-26 vs Punjab (Mohali); December 1-4 vs Mumbai; December 17-20 vs Gujarat; Dec. 25-28 vs Maharashtra (all home matches); January 2-5 vs Hyderabad (Hyderabad) and Jan. 10-13 vs Rajasthan (home).
