TTK Prestige to set up unit in Uttaranchal
BANGALORE:
TTK Prestige, now planned to take its lead in the Indian kitchen appliances category further by expanding its retail initiative through the launch of two new formats — lifestyle kitchen solution stores in cities and rural stores across the country. Announcing the achievement of the Superbrand status, the TTK Group Chairman, TT Jagannathan, said that TTK Prestige was now moving from a pressure cooker and cookware company to a diversified kitchen appliances company. On the status he said that it was achieved following a study conducted by the audit firm A C Neilson among 1,600 brands in the country recently. To scale up manufacturing to keep pace with the demand in the North, the company was setting up a factory in Uttaranchal. Another new factory at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu had begun production.
