Unseeded Soniyaa Daayal of Maharashtra stunned top seed M. Divija of Andhra Pradesh in girls under-16, winning 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 to book a quarterfinal berth. Wildcard Jenai Billimoria of Maharashtra sent out Garima Vatwani of Delhi, seeded No. 1 in the under-14, 6-3, 6-1.
