Special Correspondent

MYSORE: Officials of the Chamundeshwari Electricity Corporation (CESC) held a public grievance meeting here on Wednesday.

Assistant executive engineer T. Bhaskar chaired the meeting. Representatives from the Mysore Grakahara Parishat spoke about the problems faced by the consumers.

The officials said that they were planning to produce a documentary to create awareness on the hazards related to electricity.

Corporator Shivaram called for erecting new electric poles at Paduvarahalli as the existing ones posed a danger to the people.

N. Ramesh, working president of the parishat, said the streetlights on Gokulam Main Road were not properly aligned after the completion of the road widening work recently.

He said that the switchboards of the streetlights were not functioning properly.

There were a few complaints about unscheduled load shedding in the city.
