VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 8,000 students of the Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation schools are participating in the summer coaching camps being organised by the Municipal Corporation. The summer camps were formally inaugurated at a function held at the GVMC Swarna Bharati indoor stadium here on Saturday by the Municipal Commissioner, N. Srikanth. The camps would be held at 127 centres in 33 events, with the support of district associations of 32 sports disciplines. Among those present at the inauguration were the president of AP Volleyball Association, S. Kodandaramiah, Visakha-I MLA, Dronamraju Srinivas, president of the District Olympic Association and former volleyball player, P.G.V.R. Naidu, joint secretary of the AP Amateur Boxing Association, G.V. Raviraju, and president of the District Football Association, Y. Raghuram. — Special Correspondent
