Curfew to be relaxed further in Vadodara

AHMEDABAD: Curfew will be relaxed for seven hours in all the six riot-affected police station areas in Vadodara on Sunday. The situation continued to show improvement with no untoward incident reported since Wednesday.

The curfew was relaxed for four hours on Saturday.Encouraged by the peaceful situation, it was decided to relax the curfew simultaneously in all the areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Army was withdrawn from Raopura and Karelibagh, but flag marches were staged in some areas.
