BANGALORE HAS always nurtured creative people, many of them writers. Joining their ranks is P.A. Nazareth, former diplomat.

His book, Gandhi's Outstanding Leadership, was released earlier in Bangalore by Governor T.N. Chaturvedi, and later in Chennai by agricultural scientist M.S. Swaminathan.

Mr. Nazareth's book was released in Delhi by the former Prime Minister I.K. Gujral, who described the work "remarkable and enlightening".

Tara Bhattacharya, Gandhiji's granddaughter and chairperson of Gandhi Smriti, was among those present.
