`G.V. Atri Savinenapu 2006' on May 1

It is time to remember G.V. Athri, singer and music composer, who died at a young age.
Athri was known for rare talent in the field of music. He was known as "junior P.B. Srinivas" because of his melodious voice. He had organised musical events in different parts of the State.
A programme, G.V. Atri Savinenapu 2006, will be held at Ravindra Kalakshethra on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. to mark his death anniversary. It is being organised by Sangeetha Ganga formed by Athri. There will be folk and light music, classical and light music and dance dramas.
